Still, Rocky thought to himself, his mother was a very busy woman. She worked so hard so that his siblings could get ahead and not fall into the same situation that she was in. He admired her for that and smiled to himself with pride. His mother was one of the best women in the world and he loved her very much. It would hurt him if she ever turned on him in any way, it would hurt him deeply.

Suddenly growing very bored of his studying Rocky got up and started to do some martial arts exercises. He was right in the middle of a flying kick when his brother Carl walked in and surprised him before he could make a good landing. Seeing his brother fall to the floor and becoming worried for him Carl ran out of the room and went to alarm their mother. Rocky knew as soon as Carl left the room that he would be in for it. His mother had said implicitly for him to be studying and nothing else. Any second now she would-

"Rocky! Ven aqui ahora!" she shouted with that special tone in her voice. Running down the stairs he nearly bumped into his sister Santiella. Her face looked drawn and pale as she ran up the stairs to her room and shut the door silently. Mother has been through a tough day was what the look on her face told him. She was the second oldest and was in charge of doing the dishes and taking care of the kitchen. After seeing her look, Rocky steeled himself and walked into the living room where his mother sat.

She was a strikingly beautiful woman with the look of having matured way too early. It was true seeing as how she had given birth to Rocky at such a young age. Her shoulder length gray and brown hair cascaded down her head and she looked at him with a tired look in her eyes. Her delicate frame stood itself up from its chair and advanced on him slowly.

"Nino, my baby... please. I know you have been having a hard time in math for a long time. That was why I was so glad that when we moved here from Stone Canyon that you made friends with Billy. He helped you a lot and that helped you to bring your grades to a higher level. I know now that he is gone you don't seem to have the energy to try anymore. But please, don't slip up, there are others who can help you. I know this baby, you just have to seek them out. Let them help you, you can't just shut the world away, you know, and come back to it when you are done having fun...." she said quite wearily and patted him on the cheek as she said this. Rocky was heartbroken after she gave him this speech. He wanted so badly to please his mother in any way that he could.

Walking off into the kitchen she told him to go to the Youth Center and have a break with his friends. Putting on an overused apron she went to work in front of the stove. Rocky gave her a glance and then grabbed his coat and headed for the door with a feeling of heaviness on his heart.

At the Youth Center Rocky ran into Adam who was teaching Tanya some martial arts techniques. He smiled and walked over to them letting the sorrows of the afternoon pass from his mind. Adam stopped and waved as he came over.

Adam and Tanya had been inseparable for a while now. Rocky was pleased that his old friend was finally finding true love and he wasn't ashamed to show it. "How is the married life going?" he said jokingly and nudged Adam with a wink.

"Ha ha, very funny." Adam said wiping the sweat off his face. Tanya coming up to join them saying that it was too hot to be working out in the Youth Center. She suggested that they all go outside and continue their workout there. Seeing the logic in her reasoning Adam and Rocky complied and followed after her slight form as she exited the Youth Center.

Tanya was in her element, she was filled with compassion for and loved her surroundings in Angel Grove. There was no way that she would let anyone harm such a beautiful and wondrous place that she lived in. That was why she was asking Adam to teach her more of the martial arts that he knew so well.

Tanya wanted to be the best that she could be and not be a burden to the team. She was doing a good job of making herself quite the opponent too.

"Hey guys," she said stopping short as they reached a grassy knoll, "lets have a two on one sparring match here! I'll go first!" she announced dropping into a fighting stance and readying herself.

"Uh...Tanya are you sure about this?" Adam said, not really wanting to fight someone so incredibly close to him.

"Adam if I don't test myself now I'll never know if I can hold my own one day," she said speaking logically and reasonably as she usually did. Rocky noticed that for a newcomer Tanya had a lot of insight and possessed a lot of soul.

"You heard her Adam lets go!" Rocky said taking off his shirt. Feeling less restrained by the weight of the cloth Rocky dropped into a stance as well as Adam right next to him. It seemed like they circled Tanya for hours on end, but it was only seconds in comparison. Charging at her Rocky came in with a low front kick and was ready to follow up immediately after his kick landed.

Yet amazingly enough Tanya deftly dodged to the side and struck the side of his head with her palm lightly. That was a good hit!

Next up Adam came at her with one of his fancy Rainbow kicks. Tanya flipped over his head and did a clean and relatively painless sidekick to the small of his back. Adam managed a look over his shoulder amazed and slightly in awe as he realized she was getting better, much better.

Rocky was not to be left out though and he flung himself at her with no abandon. Fully realizing that she had gotten much better and could take the punishment he handed her his best combo. Front hand punch, back hand punch, roundhouse and a low sweep. Everything missed her widely except for the sweep which took her down in a rush of air. Seeing his chance Rocky began to close in on her but she executed a perfect side kick laying on the ground and lightly tapped Rocky's groin. She pulled that! He thought amazed as he moved back allowing Adam to try.

Seeing that Rocky was laying off Tanya realized that Adam was coming for her. Using some unknown sense she divined his movements and caught him directly in the chest with a spinning back kick. By that time both Adam and Rocky were quite worn out and they looked at the slightly winded Tanya with admiration. She had stamina... and she was now as powerful as they were. Tanya would in no way be a burden to the team now.

"Are you guys tired? How about we go get something from the Juice Bar?" Tanya suggested.

"I'm thirsty and hungry too!" Rocky said enthusiastically.

"Yeah, you are always hungry.... do you have a tape worm?" asked Adam playfully.

Rocky just blushed and headed with the rest of them to the Juice Bar inside the youth center.

On the desolate and lifeless moon stood the brand new fortress of Lord Zedd and his cronies. It had the insignia of Serpentera all over it. In fact most of it was made from left over Serpentera parts and pieces from the Machine Empire. Finster was in heaven when they had found most of the pieces to build a brand new home. Taking the extra parts from both of their technologies combined he had created something so hideous and unbelievable it was hard to describe. It was Finster's greatest creation, and everyone's new home.

He sat at his desk and contemplated the thought of starting a new line of thrulls for the Empress to use. The Putties were kind of obsolete and he knew that the Empress wanted something that would really give the Rangers a challenge. For now the Tengas would serve their purpose, but after a while something new would be needed. Swinging around in his chair he looked at the open fire in his baking oven. A new idea for a monster was running through his head along with the new idea of a group of thrulls.

In the next room over Goldar was looking out at the stars with a winsome look on his doglike face. She was out there waiting to be remembered, her services to the Empress had led her to go out into the galaxy to warn them of any new types of powers the Rangers could get their grimy mitts on. Yet she never came back, where have you gone to Scorpina? Thought a slightly upset Goldar as he clutched his sword and peered into the night sky. Where are you?

Down the hall Rito was playing with a mouse in his room when his phone rang. Yes Finster had even installed phones for them to chat with all of their evil galactic neighbors. On the other end was his father, the irrepressible and demented Lord Vile. He was howling at Rito about how stupid he was and that He and Rita were such disgraces to him that he couldn't stand to think about them. Rito sat there listening to his father rant and rave. He knew that his father would be the one to pay, seeing as how the long distance charge would be placed on him.

Meanwhile in their room Rita and Zedd had finally managed to settle down peacefully. It was decorated with skulls and various other bad guy stuff that made Zedd feel really macho. Rita sighed and thought to herself that they were just getting old. Old, the word made her mad and slowly gave her a headache. Shoving her husband out of bed she began to yell at him for no reason. Lord Zedd just sat there and looked at her as if she were insane.

He was half asleep, the move had taken a toll on everyone and even Zedd had had to help. Seeing her eyes looking right up into his Zedd finally remembered why he married her. "Rita," he said sleepily,"I finally realized why I married you. So that you would bear my child!" he said starting to wake up.

Rita nearly died on the spot when he said that. She was bound by her duty as a witch of Lokar not to have any child born of her naturally. Wondering how she would get out of this she sighed with relief as Finster entered the room with a small knock at the door.

"My Lord and Lady, I have finally-"

"Get out!" shouted Zedd interrupting Finster.

"No stay....." Rita began with a sideways glance at Zedd who was reddening,"tell us what you would have us know."

"Yes well as I was saying I have finally come up with a new type of thrull to serve you my lieges." he bowed and with that an odd looking black shadow moved into the room. It was very dark and had eyes that glistened like blood. Rita squealed with delight and Zedd looked at her questioningly.

"Those are the Watchers!" she said pointing to the sole one in their room. "They have devastating fighting power and can change into any form that they want. I have been trying to gain control of them for centuries now!" she said as her voice raised to a high ear pitching shout.

"That is not all my lieges," Finster said again motioning to the door, "meet Mezmiro..."

A giant pocket watch stepped into the room and slowly opened itself up to them. On it a face rested and it began to sing a sweet melody. Rita began to yawn and so did everyone else in the room as it kept on singing and began to flash an odd light at them.

"That is quite enough Mezmiro, your powers to hypnotize have been shown quite clearly now thank you." Finster said with a triumphant voice.

Zedd and Rita both glared at the monster with glee. There was definitely something different about this monster indeed. It would be the one to do something that would be very devastating. Sneering and filling the room with wicked laughter Zedd and Rita danced around a slightly surprised Finster all the while making evil laughing sounds.

At the command center Tommy and Kat were going through their common routine as they did every day. Tommy was complimenting Kat and Kat was doing the same back to Tommy. Zordon looked down at them with a look of impatience in his eyes and Alpha fidgeted. Two days earlier they had uncovered the storage pod of Alpha 7 in the basement. Alpha 7 was not functional, but if he were he would be much better than Alpha 5. He was more human in appearance and did not say the same catch phrase over and over. Alpha 7 was the first real threat to ever come directly into Alpha 5's so called life.

"I love you so much Tommy O." Kat said in a baby voice.

"Well guess who loves you more?" Tommy said quickly.

"I love you more!" she said enthusiastically.

"No I do!" Tommy shouted.

"RANGERS, TOMMY.....KATHERINE, PLEASE THE COMMAND CENTER IS TO BE USED FOR POWER RANGER BUSINESS. WHAT IS IT THAT YOU CAME HERE FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE?" he probed hoping to get them out of there.

"We came to see if we could establish a link to Aquitar so that we could speak to Billy and Delphine. Oh Zordon I know it is not an emergency but you must let us do it!" pleaded Kat insistently.

Saying nothing Zordon nodded at the half alert Alpha 5 and gave him a meaningful look. Nodding in return Alpha went over to one of the viewers and turned it on. Sure enough there was Billy and Delphine in an aqua colored background looking right at them.

"Surprise!" Billy said waving to Kat and Tommy.

"Billy! Hey bro how are you?" Tommy asked casually.

"Oh I'm doing real well. Delphine is the best and I have managed to integrate and upload a new program to you that would allow for easier communication between Aquitar, Earth, Triforia, and Edenoi. The Alien Rangers say hello too." Billy said happily.

Tommy had hardly seen him this happy since Trini had been around with all the other guys. Sure Billy was usually pretty glum and to the point about things, but now he seemed so relaxed. Maybe it was his time away from being a Ranger. Maybe he didn't really need to be a Ranger to gain his happiness back.

"Oh Billy it's so good to see you again. Any chances that you will be able to return?" Kat pushed.

"Sure by this summer the effects of the time displacement should be countered and I'll be able to stay around for a while. Aquitar is so wonderful you know, all of the flora and fauna are so... captivating. Well Delphine has cooked some of the delicious algae that they have here! I have to go now! Tell everyone I said hello." and with that Billy shut off the screen and their connection to Aquitar was shutdown.

As soon as the connection ended the alarm went off in the Power Chamber. Zordon's head snapped up and Alpha ran over to the viewing globe. Seeing the shadows accompanying a giant pocket watch Zordon nearly cried out in horror. The dreaded Watchers had been taken under control by Rita's cronies.

This spelled grave danger to them all, and Zordon knew he was going to have to pull out all the stops to fight these new monsters.

Right at the Juice Bar Adam and Tanya and Rocky were finishing off their cool glasses of water. Seeing the perspiration off of her face Adam looked at Tanya intently. She was awfully cute, sitting there wearing some black gi pants and a yellow top. Her yellow head band was soaked and she was too.

It made him lightly chuckle and blush.

Their communicators went off. Getting up and walking to the part of the Youth Center that they always did they began to talk to Zordon. He told them that Rita and Zedd were back in action again and they were more powerful than before. Preparing themselves for anything they teleported to the Power Chamber in a flash of wind and light. No one in the Youth Center noticed that they had left.

"Rangers..."began Alpha 5,"view the globe." he said waving at it with a small metallic hand.

On the globe a giant pocket watch was running around in Angel Grove park making the citizens flee in terror. A few of them it hypnotized and made them do silly tricks like act like birds and such. Yet there were these other things that were flitting around it like pieces of fire too. They were the Watchers, silent and snakelike in movement they protected their boss and damaged everything in their path.

"Zordon what are those?" asked Tanya who had taken hold of Adam's hand.

"THOSE ARE THE EVIL WATCHERS. BEINGS FROM A PARALLEL DIMENSION THAT WERE DESIGNED TO WATCH EVERYTHING THAT EVERYONE DOES. THEY HAVE BEEN CORRUPTED AND NOW WILL ATTACK ALL THOSE THAT COME NEAR THEM. THE ONLY WAY TO FIGHT THEM IS TO IMMERSE YOURSELVES IN THE SUN AND LET IT'S REFLECTIVE RAYS SHINE ONTO THEM. AFTER WHICH THEY WILL BE VULNERABLE TO ATTACK. RANGERS, RITA AND ZEDD HAVE GROWN EXTREMELY POWERFUL, PLEASE BE CAREFUL." said a slightly worried Zordon.

"Not to worry we'll get them. It's Morphin Time!" shouted Tommy.

As the Power Rangers showed up in the park the Watchers attacked them almost immediately. So stunned were they that the Watchers could touch them but they couldn't touch the watchers, they nearly forgot to make the sun shine off their suits. Suddenly they all activated a hidden mechanizim in their Zeonizers and caused their suits to glow with the intensity of the sun.

Seeing their enemies solidify the Power Rangers charged and began a fierce battle with the Watchers.

They were fighting for what seemed like hours when the Watchers finally began to disappear. Slowly one by one as they got punched or kicked they would disappear with a loud poof or puf. The Rangers stood there physically and mentally exhausted from the ordeal they had just been through.

Seeing its chance Mezmiro snuck up on them and began to chant with reckless abandon. He opened himself up and gave the Rangers a full experiance of the hypno waves. One by one they all began to droop and fall to the ground as he came closer and closer. They tried desperatly but could not break his hypnotic hold on them. Slowly he approached them and brought out his sharpened watch key to finish the job off. Before he could finish them off though his mistress spoke to him in his mind through telepethy.

"No you idiot, we've been waiting for this for a long time! I think that it would be much more pleasurable to see them all behave quite unnaturally if you get my drift." Rita howled in his mind.

"Yes my Empress!" the watch responded quickly and went about thinking of what he could do to the Rangers.

"Lets see here," he said looking at the Rangers as they lay in a trance at his feet,"lets start with the lovely Pink Ranger!" he stated walking over to Kat as she stumbled around in a daze.

"You cannot stand to come in contact with water! Remember when you went to do that dive not so long ago? Well now I think that that has given you a fear of water hasn't it?" he said suggestively to Kat.

"Yes....fear of water." Kat replied entranced. "Well sweetie looks like you are in trouble! Look down and realize that all this grass around you is nothing but deep and cold waters. Lapping at your body and trying to pull you down." as he said this Kat fell over as if she were in water and began to slowly suffocate.

"Who's next....ahh the demure Yellow Ranger!" he said moving to a nearby Tanya who lay on the ground motionless. "Tanya you are unwanted here...no one loves you. Not even your so called boyfriend Adam. Deal with it and suffer in silent agony."

Tanya curled up into the fetal position and began to cry intensely. She hugged herself as she shook wracked with the pain of being rejected and unwanted.

"Rocky....your secret is sooo delicious! If only the world knew what was going on inside your happy-go-lucky mind. You know that your mother will be devastated, so here is something that will undoubtedly make you miserable. She already knows and has decided to disown you. You are a social outcast and will now have to live in a world that is against you." seeing the Blue Ranger come up to his knees and just sit there the watch made its way on to the Green Ranger.

"You just suck you little shrimp. No one wants to be your friend because you are the runt. Look at you all short and weak, you don't even deserve to be with the girl named Tanya. Little wussie... you are nothing." the monster said leaving Adam to his thoughts of loneliness and depression.

"Lastly the great and powerful Red Ranger. You were nothing but a pawn from the begining. Once the faithful servant to the Empress of evil herself, you think that you have left that behind you? The truth is that no one on the team trusts or likes you."

"Well done Mezmiro! I like to see them in pain and angst. Teenagers are good for having a lot of that! Now go ahead and finish them off now that I have put up a shield to keep that Zordon from being able to teleport them away." Rita howled once again in his ear.

"Yes my Empress." he said as he advanced on them with his sharp pointed key again.

To his and the observant Rita's surprise the Rangers all disappeared in flashes of their respective lights and vanished. Rita screamed in her new fortress and ran to her husband who was sitting at their control center located behind the throne.

"Zedd! Are you online again?" she shouted in sheer anger.

"Yes why? I'm on this page that has instructions on how to make a Zord." he said uninterestedly.

"You know that when you go online the shield that we use to block Zordon goes down! How could you do that? We had the Rangers and they were about to be killed by Mezmiro" she ranted

"Rita... what I'm doing is more important, it is for our future child," at that Rita nearly threw up,"he will have his own Zord to pilot thanks to me.

So don't worry about those Rangers, they will have their time, and they will fall to my and your son!" he said with a glimmer of pride in his voice. Rita just stood there and looked at him. She itched her hair and said whatever as she walked out of the room and prompted Mezmiro to go on a rampage near the abandoned warhouse district. Throwing her wand at him Mezmiro grew to a huge size and promptly smashed a fire hazardous building in the warehouse district. The Rangers were no where to be seen.

Seeing that he could use his powers to recreate the lost life, Zordon turned the once human that was now a piece of metal into the prototype Alpha. It did it's duty and never seemed to fail in any way. Then one day it just went haywire and took a pod out into space. Never heard from again, the prototype was given up for lost and forgotten about.

Still Zordon needed to have a helpful hand around in the dimension that all the evil was in. So he retraced his steps and using the notes for the prototype he created Alpha 1. It wasn't the same though...this Alpha was not as useful as it's predecessor. None of the other Alphas were as each one eventually either went rouge or just turned obsolete. Zordon in a last ditch effort made three last Alphas in an attempt to have help around. The first one known as Alpha 5 was fidgety and often nervous but it served it's purpose.

Eventually a time came when it was needed to help the ruler of Edenoi in a far off galaxy. There it served him for a long time and forced Zordon to activate the last two Alphas he had created. These two were more human in appearance and were highly efficient. There was a female and a male, both of whom had been created to make each other's lives a little easier. Alpha 7 was the male robot that handled most of the problems that arose while Alpha 6 helped him any way she could. Sadly enough the time came for Alpha 5 to return to Earth and Zordon realized that he wouldn't need three robots operational. Silently willing the two other Alphas to shut down he sent them back to their storage pods for a later date. Alpha 5 returned and didn't have any idea that he had been temprarily replaced.

Still the day came when Alpha 5 finally did stumble across the notes about Alpha 6 and Alpha 7. He was heart broken and also scared about his usefulness. Would Zordon replace him with another Alpha soon? If so what would become of him then? Alpha stood in the Power Chamber and almost cried when Zordon had reactivated Alpha 7 when Mezmiro came around. Zordon came up with the excuse that they needed two hands to be at work in the Power Chamber. Alpha knew that Zordon just wanted to get rid of him. Then like magic just when the Rangers were going to be hurt even further by Mezmiro Alpha 7 succesfully managed to transport them away. Alpha had been upstaged as well, he was having a tough time with everything that was happening.

The Rangers still under the influence of Mezmiro's rays were incoherent and unresponsive in every way. Alpha 5 couldn't get the scanner to work and began to fumble around the room looking for something to scan the Rangers with.

"Zordon may I be of assistance?" hummed Alpha 7.

"WHAT EVER HELP YOU MAY CONTRIBUTE IS FULLY APPRECIATED ALPHA 7." he replied quickly.

Alpha 5 looked at Zordon and then looked at Alpha 7 with intrest. How could he do any better if the scanners were malfunctioning and no useful ones were around?

"Now let me see, haven't done this for ages..." trailed off the busy Alpha 7 as his first digit bent backwards exposing a small lightbulb on his finger.

Shining it on Kat he flashed the light in her eyes and began to scan her. Alpha was reeling with envy, Alpha 7 could scan things with his fingers? What else could he do that would upstage Alpha?

"Zordon I think I know how to heal them but I'm going to need Alpha 6 to do it." stated Alpha 7 without taking the light off of Kat. Alpha didn't move, didn't think, didn't feel. If Alpha 6 were activated he was as good as gone.

How could he keep up with her if Alpha 7 was already this good? Slowly without drawing attention Alpha 5 walked out one of the doors to the Power Chamber and went to sulk. Unknown to him he was being watched by dark eyes.

Not to far out in the atmosphere a small meteorite was speeding on its way toward Earth. Surrounded by golden fire and hissing all the way it was quite strange that no scanners or weather devices had detected it as it drew closer to the Earth. On a crash course with the park of Angel Grove the meteorite began to increase in speed and seemed to glow even brighter. It was very close to the surface of the planet now and would soon strike.

On the moon Goldar had been looking out the window to his room and saw the meteorite come near the planet. He was even more amazed by how he was drawn to it and all the fire that surrounded it. Grabbing his sword Goldar teleported to the exact spot of where the meteorite was supposed to strike.

Picking a safe place to observe he waited in silence at the now abandoned Angel Grove park. It was nearing evening and most of the citizens of the city were in hiding. Mezmiro had even gone to take a nap since the Rangers never showed up in time. He had done a very good job on the Rangers... that was true.

Just as Goldar expected the meteorite crashed with a loud and earpopping crash into the grassy hills of Angel Grove park. It sent tremors through the whole countryside and caused a few hiding animals nearby to whimper and flee for their lives. Seeing them Goldar was temtpted to get a snack but what happened next totally stunned him and kept him enthralled.

Out of the shell of the meteorite emerged the once lost Scorpina dressed in full battle armor. Her long ebony black hair flowed behind her gracefully as she looked around with those soulful eyes that she had. Goldar giving way to his feelings ran forward and hugged her greatly then spun her around once as she looked at him with surprise.

"Goldar! Wow you are still around? I thought that Zedd would have disposed of you by now." she exclaimed.

"That so called Lord of Darkness is nothing. I could take him any day." he lied just to impress her.

They looked at each other for a long time and just stood there. Staring at each other through the dust they appeared to be lovers who had finally found each other after being seperated a millenia. The truth of the matter was that they were in more ways than the obvious. Scorpina was supposed to be a witch of Lokar just like Rita was. Rita though in a rare fit of compassion came to her and told her not to be one of his witches. When she asked why Rita just explained that if she were to do it she would not be able to have a child. That was part of the reason Scorpina had come back. She was ready to take the monster of her dreams and start a family.

"Why did you stay away for so long?" Goldar asked with a low rumble in his voice.

"Zedd was scared of my power as an apprentice witch to Lokar. He knew that I was almost as strong as Rita and sent me off into space in that meteorite.

It wasn't until I crash landed on a small abandoned moon that I found a way out." she told him with her soft and beautiful voice.

"Well then what made you decide to risk you life and come back?" he said as he traced her features with his taloned hand.

"Rita finally found me and told me to come back. I sensed that she was in some sort of distress because of Zedd and that made me try to get here as quickly as I could."

With that Goldar explained to her the events that had transpired while she had been gone for so long. She showed no sign of being shocked or annoyed at what he said so he told her everything that had happened. From the resurgence of the Machine Empire to the desires of Zedd to procreate. She smiled coyly at this and told him there was a way that Rita could have a baby without loosing her powers. Goldar looked at Scorpina and grabed her at the small of her back.

"I think really like you." he said as he kissed her and they teleported back to the Moon Fortress.

Zordon hardly noticed that Alpha 5 was missing at all once Alpha 6 had been activated to accompany Alpha 7 in assisting the Rangers. He was concerned about how Alpha felt about the other Alphas, but hadn't the time to ask him about it. This was a tough time for the Rangers, and they needed all of his attention at the moment.

"Number 6, could you please press that lever over there to unmorph them?" asked Alpha 7.

"Yes Number 7, right away." she said as she went over and pressed the lever down. The Rangers, all of whom were lying on a huge examination table were all having some sort of feverish dreams. This wasn't serious save for one case, Kat, who wasn't breathing at all.

"Okay I need you to bring that small piece of equipment over to me Number 6. After that please hand me the sonic resonator and five ice packs." he said as she came over with the piece he had requested.

Within seconds he had gotten Kat out of her trance and placed an ice pack on her head. She slowly opened her eyes and looked all around the room in wonder. Kat's hand came up to her head and she moaned with a far away look in her eyes. Applying the ice pack directly over her frontal lobe Alpha 7 told her to lay down and keep the ice pack in place. Doing as she was told Kat found that it was much easier to think and less painful.

"Zordon, the idea was succesful. I will now move on to the next Ranger. We shall be done in an estimated five minutes."

"THANK YOU ALPHA 7. I DON'T KNOW WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED HAD YOU NOT SHOWN UP. PLEASE CONTINUE."

With that Alpha 6 and Alpha 7 continued with what they were doing while the slightly dazed Kat lay there watching them. Had Zordon just called those two teens Alpha 6 and 7? They looked so human, more so than the Machine Empire villains had. Their only distinguishing features that gave them away as bots were their joints. Other than that Kat would never have known what they were doing there. As a matter of fact where was Alpha 5? Why were these two working in his place? Trying to sit up Kat found that her head began to throb again and she remained supine.

"Zordon, what happened?" she asked weakly.

"DON'T WORRY KATHERINE. ALL WILL BE EXPLAINED AS SOON AS YOU ALL GET A LITTLE REST. MEZMIRO IS AN AWESOME FOE AND NOW I'M AFFRAID WE WILL HAVE TO DO SOMETHING DRASTIC TO DESTROY HIM." as Zordon said that Kat hardly noticed that she was being bombarded with another ray from Alpha 6 that was making her tired. All of the Rangers had been cured and exposed to the ray as well.

The last thing she remembered was that she was safe in the hands of Zordon and the Alphas as she drifted off to sleep.

Back on the moon Rita had been overwhelmed with joy when she saw Scorpina walk through the throne room doors. Zedd, while being both wary of Scorpina and what she might say, tried to be genuinely acceptable. He only sneered and growled half the time that he usually did. No one noticed though because with Scorpina's homecoming she had announced that she was going to become the bride of Goldar. Rita took this as a sgin that Scorpina had decided not to become a witch under Lokar's survice and decided to throw a party. Stealing a very expensive stereo system from Angel Grove electronics she put on her favorite Salsa music and began to form a conga line much to Zedd's chagrin.

Eventually though even the sour faced Zedd joined in and began to celebrate too. Scorpina was back, Rita wasn't complaining about her headaches, Rito and Goldar were becoming quite manageable... Well at least Goldar was and now he could try to ask Rita once more about the child.

"Say Rita, since you are in such a better mood I need to ask you a question."

"Yes Zeddikins?" she almost sang out.

"When are we going to have that baby?" he asked as the music shut off. Everyone in the fortress froze as he said this. Rito even decided that it was time for him to go so he teleported out of the room in an explosion of bones. Seeing her Empress' look of anger mixed with fear of loosing her powers Scorpina walked over and began to speak. Rita momentarily stoped from loosing control of herself and looked at Scorpina who was being closely watched by Zedd as well.

"My Empress, Master Lokar said that you could not have a child by natural means of birth. This is true and there is no way around that. Yet he did not tell you the whole story about passing offspring on. There is a way to have child and still retain the powers of a witch of Lokar. Would you like the way to be known?" Scorpina said in an even and unwavering tone of voice.

"Yes yes yes!" Zedd answered for Rita. Rita would have said yes anyway though. she was just as interested as Zedd now that she knew she wouldn't loose her powers. The idea of raising a child in evil was quite interesting to her and she wanted to hear it badly.

"Well then tonight at the grand feast that Finster is making right now I shall tell you all how you can come about making a baby by diferent means." she said slowly letting her face pull itself into a smile.

Rita and Zedd both shouted and laughed at the same time. Goldar in a corner looked at Scorpina with pride. Even that old fearful Rito came into the room with a big goofy grin on his face. Commenting on how he was going to be an uncle Rito walked over to Goldar and watched as Scorpina began to walk over to them. It was going to be a bad time for those on the side of good. Yes there were bad times coming....

The next day the Rangers found themselves in their own respective beds and made it to school without incident. The only one who had been severly punished was poor Rocky who had been grounded for staying out too late and then not telling anyone he had gotten home. Itching his head in english class he began to drift off into a day dream.

Mezmiro was coming at him from every direction. The Blue Ranger tried to dodge his attacks but every time he moved he was hit. Any second that he hesitated he was hit as well. Finally it did the same thing that it did to him yesterday. Starting to hum and opening itself it began to hypnotize him in his daydream. Yet that was when the vision stopped, Zordon or who ever had saved them had obviously wiped their memories and wasn't going to let them see what happen-

"Rocky! Rocky DeSantos wake up!" the teacher said at the top of his lungs. Rocky shot up like a rocket and sniffed as he looked around the room and blushed. Tanya was looking at him as if she knew exactly what he was going through and smiled a sort of secret smile at him. Just as he was about to do the same he remembered that the teacher was still standing by him. Looking up at him Rocky did his best little boy lost look and tried to apologize.

Luckily before the teacher could scold him anymore the bell rang signaling that start of lunch.

All the Rangers had been going to the Juice Bar at the Youth Center for what seemed like ages. Ernie would always give them a complimentary side of fries for them to share and free juice at that time of day. It was a sort of payment for their good nature and how they tended to bring in more of a good crowd than some of the others that were so troublesome. He was totally surprised today when they didn't show up at all.

The gang had decided to give the Juice Bar a rest and went to a local fast food store nearby. Seeing that no one was there hardly they took the seats furthest from the counter and began to talk as a few of them ate.

"So we know that someone saved us from the monster." added Kat.

"And that there are two new Alphas at the Power Chamber." pointed out Adam.

"There was also a big tremor last night." Tanya handed out.

"So that can only mean one thing, there is going to be trouble." Tommy said sighing.

"Yeah, especially since we haven't heard from Rita and Zedd and they still have that horrible monster watch." Rocky said as they all got a cold feeling from having been reminded of the watch monster.

"Guys why don't we just contact Zordon?" asked Tanya level headedly. Agreeing to this they all put away their trays and exited the building together. Checking to make sure it was clear they all transported away in their respective colors.

Flashing into the Power Chamber with light colors and a soft whooshing sound the Rangers all expected to be greeted by the cheerful Alpha 5. Instead they were greeted by the slightly mirthful Alpha 7 and the very shy Alpha 6.

Amazed at their human features they all forogt about Alpha 5 and began to talk to Zordon and the two new Alphas. Alpha 5 didn't even bother walking into the main room this time and just watched them from a distance.

"Zordon why didn't you contact us or let us know what was going on?" asked Tommy, hands crossed in front of him.

"TOMMY I COULD NOT RISK RESURGING MEMORIES ABOUT THE POCKET WATCH MONSTER THAT MAY HAVE PUT YOUR MIND IN SHOCK. THE MONSTER HAD A DEVASTATING POWER TO PUT ONE UNDER HYPNOSIS AND THEN MAKE THEIR DEEPEST FEARS SEEM TRUE. IF I HAD MENTIONED THIS TO YOU EARLIER TODAY ALL OF YOU MAY NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO HANDLE IT NOW." Zordon explained with the right amount of sentiment in his voice for once.

"Well thanks Zordon, now would you mind telling us who these two cute Robots are?" asked Kat.

"THESE TWO ARE ALPHA 6 AND ALPHA 7. WE WILL HAVE NEED OF MORE HELP AROUND THE POWER CHAMBER SOON SO I ACTIVATED THEM. THEY HAVE THIER OWN SKILLS AND WORK TOGETHER AS NONE OTHER I HAVE EVER SEEN BEFORE. THEY WILL BE A GREAT SERVICE TO THE RANGERS."

With that Alpha 5 cringed once again and shuffled off to his resting pod. It was getting so much easier to just shut down and let the world keep going without him. Adam was the only one who had wondered where Alpha 5 was. But an alarm at the viewing globe stopped him from asking Zordon.

"Behold the viewing globe Rangers. Scorpina has returned to town and she met with Goldar in Angel Grove park late last night. As you all know she is a very dangerous foe with a high level of efficiency in magic. Be prepared if you come to face her in battle." Alpha 7 said as Alpha 6 peered at the Rangers from behind him. Tommy was amazed at how human they seemed.

"RANGERS BECAUSE OF MEZMIRO'S AWESOME POWER OF HYPNOTISM I AM GOING TO HAVE TO MAKE SOME ADJUSTMENTS TO YOUR SUITS. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU DO NOT STOP TO FIGHT ANY WATCHERS OR ANY MONSTERS FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS WHILE I WORK WITH THE ALPHAS ON YOU SUITS. BE WARNED AND BE SAFE, REMEMBER YOU STILL CAN TELEPORT AND THE POWER WILL PROTECT YOU."

Tanya looked at Zordon questioningly but he didn't seem to notice. She was the only one who didn't have share of the power fused in her. Would she be able to contend? She had to, all of her training and hardwork would make her just as strong as the others. She just knew it.

With that Tommy noticed what time it was and reminded everyone that the next class started in fifteen minutes. It was a ten minute drove to the school so he needed to get back to his car as did everyone else. Saying goodbye to Zordon and the Alphas all of them teleported back to their cars and drove off to school.

Towards the end of the day Finster found himself cooking in the giant kitchen of the moon fortress. He had been assinged kitchen patrol ever since Rito had decided to cook his specialty. It was funny seeing as how Rito could cook something that was never alive and make it come to life, leave the kitchen, and attack anyone it saw. After that day Finster had taken over the kitchen duties as well. It wasn't that bad, and it was a way to express his art.

Looking at the big pot of stew Finster sighed. He needed some fresh truffles to make everything perfect. The only thing was there were no truffles in the kitchen, they were all on earth. Sighing and wiping his hands on his apron he called Mezmiro.

"Mezmiro I need you to go to earth and get me some truffles." he said soft voiced from being tired.

"Alright, but where can I get them from?" Mezmiro asked. "Angel Grove Grocery plaza, they should have a few packages left...so hurry up! Otherwise I may have to start all over!" he said wringing his hands and going to work on some other food.

"Yes." was all Mezmiro said as he teleported away in a burst of flame.

"Hey Bulkie, why are we going to the market again?" asked Skull as he straightened his tie.

"Once again for the last time.... my aunt is coming over and she likes truffles. We have to go buy them from the grocery store and prepare them so she is happy." Bulk answered getting red from inpatience.

"Oh." Skull kept quiet for the rest of the way, once again they had borrowed Detective Stone's car to go out. His car, just redone from the last rolling pin monster that had been in town last week, smelled and looked just like new. Patting the dashboard Bulk thought that it was great to have monster insurance. As he turned the corner to the parking lot he missed the monster teleport in behind him. He also missed it turn into an old lady who nearly ran into the store.

"So uh Bulk where would these truffles be?" Skull asked.

"Good question lets go ask the clerk." he replied. After an interesting interlude with the clerk about how round Bulk was and how he ought to call Jenny Craig they finally found the truffles. Bulk who was extremely upset by now was redder than a beet and huffing a lot. Skull tried the hardest he could to keep his laughter low enough so that Bulk wouldn't hear him. Bulk didn't hear him anyway because he had just sighted the truffles.

Dashing towards them he grabbed the small package and began to try to walk away. Much to his surprise there was some resistance and he turned to see what it was. An older woman had attached herself to the other side of the truffle package and was holding frimly to it. She looked at Bulk and scowled tugging at the bag.

"Now look here I had this one, you go on your way." he shouted while Skull moved away from them both.

"No no! You whippersnapper! Hoodlem! Help!" the woman said as she began to hit him with her purse and kept on holding the truffles.

"Uh, Skull could you help me out here?" Bulk asked looking over towards him.

"Sure Bulkie!" he said hopping over and grabbing the truffles. By this time all three of them were begining to attrack a crowd of viewers. They pulled and pulled on the bag but none of them got any more of it than the other. Then just when it seemed like Bulk would get the package it bursted and truffles flew up into the air. The old woman went flying into a banana stand, Bulk flew onto some egg cartons and poor Skull flew right into a wall. It rained truffles for about three seconds until they covered the floor.

The old woman got up from the bananas and began to change. Slowly the pocket watch monster appeared and began to wave his arms around. Bulk got up, eggs dripping from his posterior and grabbed Skull as everyone attempeted to get out of the building. Mezmiro, teleported out in the confusion with another package of truffles and laughed to himself.

Tommy was sitting with his Jason and Emily outside his home. They all lived relatively close to each other and often visited each other. They were in the yard playing with some cards and having a small game of go fish. Tommy was winning when Jason sat up and began to stretch. It was nearly five in the evening and Emily needed to be dropped off for her shift at Ernie's.

Excusing himself and Emily, Jason walked to his car and drove off with her. Tommy thought that Jason had everything going for him, he thought that Jason was the luckiest guy in the world. Gathering his cards he watched them go off into the distance and waved as Kat came around the corner. She had brought dinner since Tommy's parents were out. Jovially they went into the house and shut the door.

Jason dropped Emily off at the Youth Center and began to break out into a sweat. She would want a kiss, he knew she would. Jason hated any type of bodily contact that was sexual. He hated it with his every fiber of being because of what happened. He started to remember, but no he couldn't. He was young, really young, and had been playing outside with his friends.

Every so often a man would come around with candy and toys. All the kids liked him and called him the candyguy. The candyguy... what did he have to do with Jason? Shrugging Jason kissed Emily and fought down the waves of nausia. He drove off trying to remember his past, vaguely wondering why his memories wouldn't come back to him.

In the middle of the road Jason Lee Scott nearly had an accident. He was going through a flashback and had driven his car off the side of the road.

Releasing the gas pedal he stared off into space as the memories replayed themselves. He was in a room, the windows were shut. It was cold. He had no clothes on and was scared to death. Someone was taking pictures of him.

He felt like he had done something bad. It was his fault he was here, his fault. Behind the body of the camera came the face of his tormentor, Candyguy.

Snapping from his current state, he found that he'd driven off the road and had come close to hitting a nearby lamp post. Putting the car in reverse Jason made his way to the road again and began to drive off. Tears came, slowly at first then fast and hot as they poured down his cheeks. He was dirty, and a man had made him that way. Jason had never had anything against gay people before, but now... Becoming more angry than sad he parked his car and went straight to his basement. There before anyone could see him he wiped his face and began to punch the workout bag. Trying to forget the resurged memories Jason hit the bag as hard as he could, until he collapsed hugging it and crying himself to sleep.

That evening on the moon all of the fortress was alive with festivities. The Rangers had been gone all day, once again Mezmiro had gone down to earth and gotten away with the murder. Rita and Zedd were sitting in a huge dinner hall. There were all types of things to eat and the mood was generally light with an occasional monster standing and fighting another monster for some unknown reason.

To the left of Rita sat the lovely Scorpina, dressed in a flowing gown of black silk. She hair was pleated into a fashionable style and she was drinking a glass of wine. Next to her sat Goldar who was dressed as usual and was eating some stew. He would stop every now and then to make sure that Scorpina was still there and then would resume his eating. he still couldn't belive she had returned.

On the side of Zedd sat Finster and then Rito. Rita tried to have Rito sit by Zedd but her husband knew better than that. Rito didn't even use any utensils to eat, there was no way he was going to sit next to Zedd. No way at all, especially if he was going to have the stew too.

"So Scorpina how is it that Rita and I can have a child?" Zedd asked.

"It's quite simple," she said as the room went quiet, "take a sample of her DNA and yours. Then incubate them and create the child you've always wanted." she said with a certain flair.

"That's it?" Rita yelled at the top of her lungs.

"Yeah, then you'll have a test tube ba-"

"Shut up!" Zedd said as he flung a piece of bread at Rito. Rito taking this as a playful gesture threw some stew at Zedd who promptly ducked as it spilled all over Rita.

Rita of course started to get a headache and began to throw some meat at Rito who ducked as it splatted all over Finster. Before they recieved any of the flying food Goldar and Scorpina teleported away while food flew all over the room.

"So Scorpina is it really that easy to make a child?" Goldar asked shuffling his feet.

"Yes, would you like to see?" she asked.

"Well uh...d'oh you know I really like you and all," he said not answering her question.

"I'll take that as a yes." she said leading him off to her room.

Finster kept his eye on them dutifully and made sure that they were exposed to whatever Rita commanded. He was still amazed that once the pods were opened that the twins would mature to their late teens and would be ready to wreck havoc on the world immediately. Scorpina's child had been left alone since she didn't want it to grow quickly once it left the pod.

Stepping to the data imput scanner, Finster sent in all kinds of messages that were negative to the twins via the tubes they were in. He did this for an hour before he grew tired, loosing all rational thought to sleep. He had had to clean up all of the mess that everyone had made last night and was extremely tired. Giving way to the sleepy feeling he had Finster made the mistake of typing something positive before he fell asleep. Unknown then to him, this would have a profound affect on one of the twin siblings.

"RANGERS, I NEED YOU AT THE POWER CHAMBER IMMEDIATELY." Zordon said as they all listened to their comminicators.

"Right away Zordon!" Tommy said into the watch. Checking once again for anyone watching they saw it was safe and teleported to the command center in an instant.

There the Rangers were once again greeted by Alpha 7 and Zordon. It began to slowly register that Alpha 5 hadn't been seen for a long time to Kat. Stepping forward she looked at Zordon until she caught his attention and asked him where Alpha was. Zordon himself had truely forgotten about Alpha 5 and was shocked that he hadn't been around lately. The other Alpha kept silent as she saw all of this unfold.

"RANGERS, ALPHA'S SUDDEN DISAPPEARANCE IS QUITE PUZZLING TO ME. I WILL ATTEMPT TO LOCATE HIM AS SOON AS I GIVE YOU YOUR NEW ZEO ARMOR. IT HAS COME TO MY ATTENTION THAT MEZMIRO HAS COME BACK TO EARTH AND IS TRYING TO DESTROY ANGEL GROVE PARK. I BELIVE THAT WE HAVE FINISHED THE SUITS JUST IN TIME. MORPH AS YOU USUALLY WOULD AND GO SAVE ANGEL GROVE. AND MAY THE POWER PROTECT YOU." he said as they all nodded and began to morph.

As soon as they had left Zordon looked at Alpha 7 quizically. She stood there looking at him for a while and asked him what was wrong. Zordon said it was nothing and kept on thinking to himself. He'd felt an evil pressence in the Power Chamber. Could it be that the new Alpha had been corrupted and gotton rid of Alpha 5 to make sure that no one knew of a new evil scheme? Zordon didn't know the answer to that. The question haunted him as he watched the Rangers fight Mezmiro on the viewing globe.

The Rangers had proceeded to smash through the pocket watch monster's defense easily. Seeing that the hypnoray had no effect on them at all he'd switched to his sharpened key point and began to attack them. Watchers were flitting all around them too as the Rangers attempted to make sure that Angel Grove park wasn't destroyed. Tanya and Adam handled the Watchers while Tommy, Kat and Rocky fought with Mezmiro.

"Tommy help!" Kat said as she was taken hostage by Mezmiro with one arm.

"Oh no, Kat!" he yelled as she reached towards him weakly.

"Whoa, Tommy look out his sword is changing to a gun!" Rocky tried to warn Tommy but was too late. As Tommy shot forward and tried to slice him with his Zeo Sword, Mezmiro blasted him with the ray gun which had once been his sword.

"Ha ha ha ha!" laughed the evil monster.

"No Tommy!" Kat shouted as she too was shot and went flying over to Tommy and Rocky.

"Now I'll finish you three off and take the other two easily!" Mezmiro taunted.

"Oh no you wont!" said Tanya as she finished off the last of the Watchers with Adam and flipped towards the rest of the team.

Combining their special attacks Tanya and Adam both flew at the monster and blew him up easily. A burst of flame was all that was left of him as they ran back towards Tommy and Kat who were just begining to stand up. Shakenly, Tommy thanked Adam and Tanya with all of his heart. They just nodded and helped him and Kat to their feet. Teleporting back to the Power Chamber in flashes of light and sound they all were glad to be rid of Mezmiro.

When they arrived there it looked as if a hurricane had hit the place. Machines were busted open and parts of them lay all over the place. It was dark because half of the lighting was shut down and only the reserve power was left running. Sparks flashed and jumped as more and more circutry shorted and shut down. Lastly Zordon was not in his dimensional chamber where he was supposed to be. Kat gasped and ran forward tripping over something that was on the ground.

"Kat are you okay?" Rocky said rushing forward with the rest of them.

"Yes I'm okay. There's something on the ground here..."she said trailing as she caught sight of her.

"Yes I have been waiting for you to return Rangers." Alpha 7 said when their eyes focused on her. She was tied masterfully, which hindered her from moving even an inch. Alpha 7 wasn't helping at all as Kat began to try to sit her up as she had just been knocked over by her rush forward.

"Who did this? How could this happen?" asked a misty eyed Adam.

"I can tell you who did this," said a ruefull Alpha 7 who had just woken up it seemed, "Alpha 5 was the one who did it. He destroyed our link with Zordon and smashed all of our technology on his way out. Leaving us tied up he left a message for you, it is in the databanks over to the left of us." she said more angry than it seemed possible for a robot.

Tanya walking over to the databank began to fumble with the switches and activated the holographic message. There an image of Alpha 5 showed up as he began to overload the security systems and tied up the other Alpha. Lastly he went over to one of the machines that kept Zordon in the chamber and blasted it with a gun he'd gotten. All that could be heard was a small muffled cry by Zordon as he attempted to ask Alpha why he was doing this. As Zordon faded Alpha 5 turned and tossed the camera a middle finger and blasted it as well.

By the time this image was over with all of the Rangers had become either very sad or very angry. Betrayal was a pill that had jagged edges, and it was obvious that this pill was one of the worst. Slowly Kat untied the Alpha 7 as Tanya played around with the controls. It was going to be a long day, and now things seemed to be worse than they had ever been before.

On the moon things were the exact opposite in atmosphere. Rita was actually almost happy as she walked with Zedd to Finster's room. She stepped in and woke the sleeping Finster who had managed to find his way to his room after he fell asleep. Tapping him directly on the temple until he shot up, Rita laughed and put her hands on her hips. Finster seeing who it was snaped awake quickly and wordlessly leading them to his lab room.

There the twins floated undisturbed in their fluids as Zedd and Rita approached them. Seeing that they were ready to be released Finster walked over to a small box and pulled out some clothes. Taking out a rather trendy suit that was all black he set it aside for the boy. Then taking out a brown pair of slacks and a brown vest with a white turtleneck he set that aside for the girl along with some shoes that went with both outfits.

Zedd looked over at Rita and then at Finster expectantly. Neither of the children looked like monsters at all. They were in fact quite beautiful... natural and normal in appearance. Save for the silver hair that formed on their heads as they slept. Shrugging he figured they took after their mother and wouldn't come to resemble him outwardly. Placing his staff by a wall nearby Zedd looked over his shoulder and made sure that thise wasn't a dream. Had he really gotten his children, would they be the worst blight to hit the galaxy since Barney? Only time would tell he thought as he walked over to Rita.

"Okay Finster, we're ready." Rita said as Zedd came back over.

Finster went right over to the control panel and pulled a switch. The fluid in the pods began to drain away as the twins slowly descended to the bottom of the pods. As soon as they hit the bottom the glass surrounding them lifted away exposing them to the air. Rita and Zedd rushed forward and each one grabbed a child and held it close. Finster almost wished that this was a normal family that he was a part of. Feeling genuinly sorry for the babies he told them to place them on the ground since they would begin to mature rapidly.

Doing as they were told Rita and Zedd nearly fell over as the children matured to their late teens in a matter of seconds. Before them stood two golden skinned and silver haired teens that were exceptionally beautiful. The boy had long hair that was pulled back into a ponytail and braided down his back. His twin had a soft curl to her hair and it cascaded down to her shoulders. Both of them were extremely physically fit and could easily pass for Olympic gymnasts. Rita and Zedd gasped, they could see traces of both of them in their children, it was both shocking and humbling at the same time. Finster stepped forward with the clothes in his hands and waited for them to awaken fully.

Slowly opening their eyes at the same time both of them looked upon their parents and smiled. Nearly identical in every way except for gender the twins radiated an aura of evil and darkness that made the room seem to grow cold. Rita and Zedd were even amazed at how cruel the two seemed at such an early age. They hadn't been able to pass off an evil aura like that before they had reached their thousands. And these two not even a quarter of a century were already nearly as powerful as they were. Shivering Finster stepped forward and handed them their clothes along with some undergarments he had found.

Taking them wordlessly the twins dressed and looked at their parents with expectant eyes. Rita stepped forward and admired her new son and daughter. They watched her as she moved around them and looked at them. Zedd began to step forward and their gaze on him nearly made him stop. Perhaps they should have waited instead of acutally making them grow unnaturally.

"My lovely son, for some reason I think I will train you to be a Warlock of Lokar," Rita said, "would you like that?"

"Y.. yes." he said trying out his voice.

"Well then I guess I'll make her a technology expert wont I?" said Zedd becoming competative.

"Finster I want you to name them since you helped them to grow. If your technology hadn't been here then Scorpina would have never been able to give us results to our dream." Rita said slightly surprised as she saw Zedd concured with her.

"Well my lieges," Finster said fumbling, "I guess two good names would be Kai and Kia."

Both of them stood there looking at Finster silently for a minute or two. It seemed that he had messed up once again and would be in for it now. Cringing from the impending blows he was startled to see that neither of them were upset and they were actually rather pleased.

"Now Kai, let me take you to meet Master Lokar." Rita said taking him by the hand and pulling him away.

"Yes and let me take you to Finster's lab and teach you a thing or two about Alchemy and the sciences." Zedd said as he led Kia off.

Finster just sighed and went to work making sure that Scorpina's child was sure to be alright the rest of the day. Seeing that it was, Finster snapped his fingers and waited for the Watchers to come. As soon as they had he went to his lab and began to work on his next work of art. The Lionel monster.

Goldar was sitting in his wicker chair looking at the earth once again as usual. Scorpina had went to earth and was in the process of buying some diapers and formula for the impending 'birth' that awaited them. Goldar didn't really know what to expect when she got back. She had been so nice to him for all the time she had been back. It seemed like she was changing, almost as if she were becoming good. Goldar shook his head at this, Scorpina couldn't be good. There was no way that could happen at all. A witch of Lokar and related to the space pirate DivaTox? There was no way a drop of good blood was in her. Or was there?

At the store Scorpina went by her earth name of Lamy Scor. She was wearing some baggy jeans and a pair of sunglasses that hid her eyes from the sun. The shirt she wore said 'Say no to Drugs' and was covered slightly by a jean jacket. Not her usual dressy attire, Scorpina decided that she didn't need any unwanted attention on herself. This was some time off from all the so-called evil buisness. Evil. The word was not able to be applied to her. Scropina had stopped being evil a long time ago out in space. She now prefered to call herself an opportunist. One who wasn't evil but most definately wasn't good. She would try to explain this to her sweetie Goldar when she got back. He was having his doubts in her, she knew it, but that would be fixed soon.

Walking into the store Lamy smiled at the cashier and walked right up to her as she took off her sunglasses. She was a middle aged woman and had a few gray wisps of hair in her head. Her nametag said that she was called Marisa and Lamy called her name as she approached.

"Hi Marisa... I'm sorry I know I don't have the money right now but could I please have some pampers and formula for my baby?" she asked looking directly into Marisa's eyes.

"Why.....sure.....go ahead. Please Lamy take what you want." she said in an odd voice as she pointed and waved her arm out towards the store. Lamy smiled as she turned and her red eyes gleamed wickedly as she took what she wanted. Leaving the place and taking the corner she hardly noticed the two metalic figures watching her from behind the cars.

At the Power Chamber things were looking up. All of the Alien Rangers had shown up and had brought Billy back. Trey was also there with Jason who was behaving strangely. The Alien Rangers, Billy and the new Alpha had proceeded to slowly put the Power Chamber back together. All of the other Rangers had been sent home since it was a school night and they needed their rest. Jason was there because he'd come to talk to Zordon and just happened to find everyone else there.

"Jason I sense that something is wrong. Is there any way that I can help you?" Trey asked.

"No! I was just coming to say hi to Zordon. Well I'll be on my way now!" he said as he quickly teleported away. Trey just stood there looking at where he had been, his heart knew that something was seriously wrong. Sighing heavily he began to walk over to the Alien Rangers and was stopped when an alarm went off. Turning quickly everyone looked at the viewing globe and saw an image of Triforia. There they saw that it was being attacked by some unknown enemies. Circling his arms in front of him Trey transformed into the Gold Ranger and teleported to Pyramidas without a word.

"Billy, could you come over here and help me try to contact Zordon?" Alpha 7 asked him. He smiled and walked over casually, the Alien Rangers would be able to handle most of the rest of the repairs.

"So what special programs did Zordon install in you?" Billy asked seeing that Alpha 7 was extremly advanced in doing things fundamental to their purpose.

"I have a highly interpahsed molecular density allowing me to not be as fragile as the previous models. My memory capacity is ten times as large and I have a rapid compression ability allowing me to save space. My body can function as a conduit for any type of electrical device and I also have a small array of hidden utilities on my body." answered Alpha 7.

Billy nearly adjusted his glasses but remembered that he wore contacts. Smiling to himself he sighed and wished that he had known of this model when he was here. Alpha 5 was interesting to study but this one would have given him much more insight into Cybernetics and Robotics at such an earlier age. Oh well, what was done was done and it was too late for what ifs now. Continuing to work hard on contacting Zordon Billy lost himself in his work. It never crossed his mind that those two may have been the reason for Alpha 5's strange behavior.

Stone Canyon wasn't like Angel Grove at all. Where Angel Grove was small and fragile with it's lovely parks and beautiful trees, Stone Canyon was more like an inner city. True it was no where near New York in intensity and there had never been a murder in the area yet it still had it's negative influences.

There was an intense rivalry going on with it and Angel Grove. It seemed that Angel Grove always beat them in whatever tournaments came up. Be them street hockey or as outlandish and amazing as a Ninja Tournament. This sparked the feud that ran deep and silent between Angel Grove and Stone Canyon. Once sisterly towns that made their area flourish they now seemed to be the thorne in each other's back.

One of the things that made Stone Canyon so contraversial was it's apparent uncaring attitude towards all the underground clubs it had. Offering sex, drugs and alcohol to any who came near them, they were a huge spot for trouble and mayhem. Tonight was going to be one of the worse nights that Stone Canyon would ever see.

Two rather preppy looking teens walked into Sig's bar. It was a small establishment and there was smoke filling the whole room blocking most of it from being seen. In the back some low and rhythmic house music was playing and the beat drove into all the dancers there.

"Well sister it seems that we shall get a large crowd to try out our powers on." said Kai smoothing his hair back.

"Yes brother, let us go." she said almost gasping, all of the heady air was making it hard to breathe.

As those two walked further into the club another teen from out of town walked in. Jason looked around and saw them in little pockets all over the place. There they were, all of them the same as the one who had screwed him over as a child. Sissys, fags, queers, whatever one would call them, they were everywhere it seemed. Spitting and walking over to the bar he ordered a beer and was surprised when he got one. No one checked his ID, nor did they even charge him. He looked up and realized that the first three beers were free on happy hour. It was happy hour.

Kia and Kai were out on the floor in their flashy suits that Finster had given them. Dancing and drawing the attention of nearly everyone around them they began to surmise the crowd. No one near them posed an immediate threat and they were quite hungry. Kia stopped dancing near her brother and began to dance with a rather rough looking gang member. Her golden skin and silver hair flashed in the pseudo disco light and fascinated him. Slowly, she thought, slowly don't want to kill him now. Before the guy knew it he was begining to feel quite faint. His energy was draining away exhausting him. Slumping to the ground he landed softly with a thud and closed his eyes. Kia danced away and winked at Kai who began to do the same thing to some other people near him. They were feeding.

Outside Jason stammered around drunken from the three incredably strong beers he had drank. It had started out as a good night for him. Drinking his worries away, not having to deal with the thoughts of The Guy or anything else. Especially Emily... he didn't want Emily to know no matter what.

"Come on sweets, it's late!" said a guy who had his arm around another man as they left the bar.

Jason so drunken from the beer saw what he dispised the most and advanced on them dropping his beer bottle. The two of them turned and looked at his smashed face and knew exactly what was going to happen. Trying to run but still not fast enough to get away they only managed to lead Jason and themselves away from the crowds of people. Eventaully the more drunken one tripped and fell over slamming into the hard, cold pavement. His friend stopped and tried to drag him up but it was no use. Jason pounced on them fists flying and feet stomping before they could resume running.

"Dammit! Frickn pussies! That'll teach you to be pervs and go after little kids." he slurred as he beat both of them untill they stopped moving. Blood on his hands and all the reasoning gone from his eyes Jason was gone. In his place was the scared little boy that had been molested. The word rolled around in his mind as he saw himself beating the two guys. Molested, molested. Dirty, not pure. One who is sexually abused when not consenting. Crying he realized when the patrol car pulled up that he needed help and really didn't want to have hurt these two. Using his communicator Jason teleported away before he was recognized as the Jason Lee Scott that went to the peace conference. The one who advocated peace and acceptance to all those around him. The one who as a child had sworn that he would protect those around him from others that were bad. Others like The Guy.

Inside only two people had gotten away from Kia and Kai. They stood there in the middle of the floor laughing and dancing. Their first night out on the town and they had easily taken in most of the energy they would use for sustinence for the rest of the week. Vampires in a way, more like siphons in another way they fed on the energy of emotions and emotions ran high in places like these. Slowly going over to the bar where the last two tried to hide, Kai used his devastating magical energy to make the whole bar lift up and fly to the other side of the room. Behind it cowered the last two people they would meet that night. Kia and Kai joined hands and stepped forward with a demonic look on their faces. Placing their hands on the two they drained all the energy that came from them and watched as they slumped to the floor. Throwing thier heads up and laughing all at once they teleported and dissappeared in two flashes of silver light.

Out in space a small ship floated silently and was cloaked from all the sensors on the planet below. Archerina and Gasket sat at the helm and were drinking some unleaded gasoline. Flipping a switch Gasket wathced the moniter in front of him show a picture come up on it of two shadowed figures. They were both bots, it was obvious, but their features were scrambled and couldn't be seen.

"So how goes the work on earth you two?" asked Archerina with her feathery voice.

"Quite well mistress." answered one as it made bowing motions.

"And how are our two targets Zordon and Zedd?" asked Gasket making a fist and sitting forward.

"They have no idea what is going on. We recently took care of Zordon and are now watching Zedd and Rita closely. The Rangers may succeed in contacting Zordon before we get our plan in action. What do you suggest?" the first one said again. It seemed that the second one was quite shy.

"Idiots! Must I do everything myself?" asked Gasket growing mad and slamming his gasoline down. Standing up he looked all over the ship and finally seeing what he wanted walked over to it to pick it up. A small device looking much like a Gameboy rested in his hands for a second before Archerina flipped another switch and teleported it down to the two opperatives.

"This shall keep them from being able to contact their precious Zordon. All you need to do is get into the Power Chamber undetected and slip this under his dimensional chamber. It will continue to scramble his locational frequency causing them to never be able to get a lock on him. Do you think you can do it?" she said cocking an eyebrow at the screen.

"Getting in to the Power Chamber is as easy as pie." the robot said as it walked off with it's companion. The screen shut off and left the two last members of the Machine Empire to themselves. They both looked at each other and smirked. Soon they would enact their ultimate plan, and then both the Rangers and Zedd and Rita would pay.

Rocky and Santiella were watching the late evening news in the family room. Santiella had found Rocky in the room watching the television by himself. He had that look on his face again. She didn't know what it meant but it was most definately not good. Sitting by him and handing him a glass of milk she tried her best to comfort him. Watching the news with him she had almost fell asleep when the late breaking story hit.

"Flash report! Stone Canyon suffers some strange occurances tonight in two areas of the town. A police report of a gay hate crime came in and two men were checked into the hospital in semi stable condition. Their attacker seen briefly by the police disappeared mysteriously and was no where to be found. Later on that evening another report came in about Sig's Bar. Apparently everyone in the bar had been found in a comatose state and would not wake up. Currently at Stone Canyon hospital they are being kept under a watchful eye by a crack team of medical professionals. More on this story as the news breaks later." and with that both Rocky and Santiella sat up with a wide eyes. She looked at him and for a second and thought she saw a look of recognition in his eyes. It was quickly replaced by a look of confusion as he turned off the televison and told her he was going to bed. Rocky had never really liked Stone Canyon, Santiella thought. She knew it held too many bad memories for their family. Like their father.

Just before turning in Tanya called Adam one last time on his line. It was obvious his parents would be asleep by now and she didn't want to disturb them. Silently praying that he would answer the phone she lay back and thought about what Mezmiro had said to her. It seemed as if she were the only one suffering from what he had said. Perhaps it was because the Power didn't protect her the same way that it did everyone else. She was after all, a stand in for Aisha who had decided that she wanted to stay in Africa.

"Hello?" came Adam's groggy voice through the phone.

"Adam... it's me Tanya. I need to talk to you. I have to tell you that I think that something is wrong." she said with her voice shaking.

"Tanya what's wrong?" he asked growing scared and not knowing why.

"Adam I just can't do this... I can't!" Tanya managed as she gasped out between sobs.

"Wait a second Tanya just tell me what is wrong. Please you've got to trust me!" Adam nearly shouted into the phone. As each second passed by he felt like he was going to loose her. His heart racing, Adam waited for an answer that didn't come. To his horror a small click came over the phone telling him that either they had been disconnected or she hung up. Adam sat there clutching the phone, he was petrified of what was going to happen. Trying to find the strength to move Adam found that all he could do was sit there and clutch the phone. His mouth silently formed the name of the one he was thinking of, Tanya.

Tanya had hung up the phone and found her way outside. She was lost under the spell of Mezmiro and couldn't find her way free. This was his parting gift to her, the false sight of what was all too likely possible. Part of her knew there was something she had to do before things took a turn for the worse. Unfortunately she couldn't bring herself to remember what it was she had to do. Running through the fields that grew behind her house she was reminded of her time in Africa when she was free and didn't have a worry in the world.

Laughing deliriously and twirling around in circles Tanya held her arms close and didn't see Adam as he teleported in behind her. Spinning faster and faster she flung herself at the ground nearby and prepared to land gracefully. Then seeing a rock in the ground she wondered if she had purposely aimed for it. Deciding she did she took one deep breath and sighed. This would be it, the rock that had been in front of her was her release. This was exactly what would make her so called friends feel sorry that they ever pretended to like her. Release and redemption she said as she went down and blacked out.

"Tanya, NO!" shouted Adam as he saw what she was doing. Rushing up to her he found that she had landed hard and there was blood on her head. A hot tear landed on her face and she looked up at him with clear eyes. Her mind was free from Mezmiro's spell now thanks to his love for her. The single tear, holding so much emotions for her had set her free. Cradling her light frame close to his body Adam tried to teleport to the Power Chamber. Much to his fear the teleportation device was not working. Why the hell isn't it working, he thought to himself. He had to do something fast, Tanya needed medical attetion and... and he didn't want to loose her. He didn't need or want to suffer the heartache.

"Don't you die on me Tanya! Damn it I love you! Do you hear me? Try to stay with me, I'll get you some help." he said as he teleported this time to Angel Grove Memorial Hospital.

There he set her on the floor and ran to look for a nurse or a doctor. By the time that they got back Tanya was lost to a coma. The doctors pronounced her as having a severe concussion and said that they would take care of everything else. Adam tried to protest and became rather violent as the doctors tried to keep him away from the emergency room. They kept trying to explain that they would contact her parents and that there was nothing else he could do. Still seeing him react quite violently one of the physicians nodded to a nurse who promptly injected Adam with a sedative. The world blackened out and he had the sensation of falling, falling, falling... and then nothing.

On the moon Rita had been watching most of the night's activity with her telescope. She laughed to herslef and walked towards her husband who was seated on the throne. Her wicked smile sending chills through him he had never felt before Zedd was for once glad to see his wife. She hadn't had a headache all day, hadn't gone above thirty decibles and hadn't decided to do anything utterly stupid for once.

"Well well Zeddikins you'll never guess what just happened down on earth!" she said to him.

"Let me guess, you saw the Power Rangers all commit suicide and Zordon's sickening Power Chamber got blown to bits by a commet?" Zedd asked knowing he was wrong.

"Nope, I just saw our two children drain the life out of a huge crowd of people in a seedy club. Then later on I saw that new Ranger Tanya flitting about under the spell of our long dead monster Mezmiro. Best of all she decided that her life meant nothing and she took a dive, hitting her head on a nearby rock!" Rita replied mirthfully, smacking her hands together in a sliding motion.

"Oh boy! One Ranger down! Four more to go!" Zedd shouted while he lifted his arms shaking them.

"Yes, yes... and such interesting children we have don't you think. Who would have thought they would turn out to be a new type of vampire?" Rita brought up.

"Yes. Things are most certainly looking grim. And I like it that way. Nothing could spoil my mood now!" Zedd shouted as he got up and began to dance with his wife.

"Oh we'll see about that!" came a voice from the dark entrance to the throne room.

They both stopped their dancing and looked at the entrance. Smoke blew in softly and there was a tall and dark figure in the doorway. The ominous figure stepped forward and both Rita and Zedd finally got their headaches when they saw who it was. Master Vile had returned, Rita's father and current thorne in the side of the Triforians. His heads all hissed and spat as he slowly walked forward and used his staff for keeping his balance. Both Rita and Zedd groaned as Rito came barging in and tried to warn them that Vile was here and they should turn out the lights. Vile commented on how it was a little late for that and swatted at Rito with his staff before ascending the throne and sitting in the chair there.

"It's good to be back for a visit. And as you all know things will be going my way from now on! Now as for these two children that you've had Rita let me see them. I think I would like to know if they are as much a dissapointment to me as you and Rito are."

With that Rita began to wail and complain about her head hurting. Zedd once again fell into a rather foul temper and Rito as usual was just simply clueless. None of them noticed at the time that Goldar and Scorpina and Finster had all decided to sneak aboard Vile's ship which looked like a giant skull. They all had their own agenda and would need to keep the heat off themselves.

Inside the ship mists and cobwebs seemed to populate every room. Sparks flew and random patrols of monsters roamed the hallways listlessly. Scorpina knew that Vile had sworn never to come back to this galaxy for any reason. Something had chased him back here and she would find out what it was.

Dressed in her traditional golden battle aromor she led the way with Goldar while a distraut Finster took up the rear. The only reason he had come was in hopes of getting some ideas of new monsters from Vile's cookbook. Goldar had come along because he was not about to let his love go on this wierd monstrosity all alone.

Taking so many corners that they nearly got lost the trio finally came upon Vile's main bedchambers. There on a small table sat his mini laptop and a spell book. Finster rushed over and took out a small machine that he promptly hooked up into the laptop. After trying out a few codes and random programs Finster found what he was looking for and turned to show the other two what he had found. Much to his amazement he was surrounded by a large group of silly looking monsters and Scorpina and Goldar where nowhere to be found. Slowly with a tired sigh Finster raised his hands into the air and did the unexpected.

Reaching into a hidden pocket in his sleeves Finster pulled out a wad of sleeping powder. Summoning all the courage he had, he flung it all over the group of monsters and waited to see if it worked. Delighted to see that it did, Finster grabbed the book and the machine hooked to the laptop and dashed out of the room. He had to get out of here and warn Rita and Zedd what was going to happen. If he didn't the result might mean that they would be in serious trouble!

A ways down the hall Goldar and Scorpina had decided to leave Finster and try to find the control room. They knew deep in their hearts that if he got in trouble he would weasel his way out. After all he had survived with Rita for a long time and had lived with Zedd as well. Finster would probably be around much longer than the rest of them anyway. Turning a corner the two of them promptly shouted when the floor gave way beneath them and they fell into a dark and deep pit that swallowed them like they were nothing. Their cries went unheard by any and soon to their horror the pit began to close after itself, reseting all over again.
