Author's Note: Sorry *sighs* another Tommy fic. The flashbacks takes place during "The Green Candle Part 2", "White Light", and "A Different Shade of Pink Part 4."
Timeline: This takes place on the day Tommy has received the letter from Kim.

Dust (In the Wind)

He couldn't believe it! Three years together down the drain. It was all over, the magic, the happiness, and the joy and worst of all he would never get to see her beaming smile ever again. He had all these mixed emotions.

"This has to be a mistake, or maybe a sick prank... or something?" He said to himself. He knew Kimberly Hart since the first day of school at Angel Grove High, and he thought she was so sweet and she would have never broken someone's heart. "Guess I was wrong."

I close my eyes
Only for a moment, then the moment's gone
All my dreams
Pass before my eyes, a curiosity

Tears dripped down his face when he heard this song.

"Why, what did I do? She was happy at Christmas, we even kissed under the mistletoe!"

{FlashBack}
Kimberly had been looking all over for him and she found him at the lake.

"They said back at the Youth Center I would find you here." She said smiling, but inside she was worried about her friend.

He walked over to her. "Yeah, sometimes I like to practice outside, get some fresh air.

Kim nodded and said, "How are you doing?"

"I'm hanging, I've been working on karate and focusing on my school work. Just trying to keep busy, you know?"

Kim nodded and said, "We miss you."

"Yeah, but you guys were a team long before a time I showed up, but I'll be back to normal before long."

She shook her head, "I miss you." He took her hand. They looked each other in the eye and leaned into their first kiss!.
{End of Flash Back}

It's the same old song

{Flash Back}
"I REVEAL TO YOU, THE WHITE RANGER." Said Zordon. The ranger floated towards the ground. He slowing stepped down and stood there. The rangers were in awe.

"UNMASK YOURSELF WHITE RANGER." Said Zordon. The white ranger flipped the locks that kept his helmet on. Just as he lifted up his helmet, Kimberly fainted.

"Guess who's back." Said Tommy smiling at all his friends. They all came up to him and hugged him.

"We were all hoping it would be you, especially Kimberly." Said Billy.

"Speaking of Kimberly." Said Tommy. He walked over to her. She lay there still unconscious. Tommy set his helmet down and he picked her up in his arms.

"Hey, beautiful, it's time to wake up." She opened her eyes and smiled.

"I don't believe it, I must be dreaming, is it really you?" She asked.

He laughed, "In the flesh." Still in his arms she leaned up a hugged him

{End of Flash Back}

"Dust. Everything we shared, is gone." He said closing his eyes. He remembered her bright cheerful smile. Their first date was something he could neverm forget. He laughed at the memory of him picking Kim up and he was a nervous wreck. But she broke the ice and they had a good time at the dance.

"I guess what they say is true, nothing good ever lasts forever, huh?"

{Flash Back}
Tommy and Kim were walking on the shore of the beach.

Kimberly stopped and said, "Well I guess this is the end of the pink ranger huh?"

Tommy said reussureingly, "We can still share our powers with you!"

"Yeah, for awhile but when thats over.... She stops and he takes her hands.

They looked into each others eyes, "Tommy, I'm really scared!"

"Remember what you told me when I lost my powers?"

"Yea, I said that you would be alright, and that you would always have us." Said Kim as he clutched her hands in his.

"Yeah, and you'll have me! Kim, I'll always be here for you." He said and then kissed her.

Tommy remebered holding her in his arms when she was crying because her parents were getting a divorce. He recalled the night before she left, when they had confessed their undying love for each other. They promised to be there for each other no matter how tough things got, one of them would be there to pick up the pieces.

Open your eyes, you've aquired quite a bit

It could all end instantly, as you will see
Time waits for no one, it just moves on

He just couldn't piece it together, nothing made sense.

"She seemed happy when she called me last week. What could have changed her mind that quickly to make her forget about my love for her? I just can't see it?"

There is a white one
Who can't accept the black one
Who won't accept the yellow one
Who can't accept the white

"Hey Tommy where are you going?" Asked his Uncle John.

"To figure out what has happened to my relationship with the woman I've loved for three years!" He said and walked towards the garage.

And with that he took off in his uncle's red pick-up truck.
